The LINEA Collection has landed

Low-slung seating built on a single continuous line. Solid ash frames, hand-finished, wrapped in undyed wool. Designed to sit quietly in a room and still hold it together.

FLAGSHIP RELEASE

ATELIER 03 — our most complete room yet

Three years of studio work distilled into one fully resolved interior system — modular storage, lighting, seating and surfaces that share a single proportion grid. Specified for architects and homeowners who want a room to feel finished, not filled.

The Quiet Method — Lemora design philosophy
OUR PHILOSOPHY

The Quiet Method

Minimal is not empty. It is everything unnecessary removed until only the things that earn their place remain. We start with how you actually live, edit hard, and let proportion and material do the talking.

HOW WE WORK

Four stages, no surprises

You will know what happens next, what it costs, and when it lands — at every stage.

01

Listen

We walk the space and ask how you actually live in it. No mood boards yet — just measurements, light, and habits.

02

Draw

Plans, elevations and a material palette you can hold. You see the room resolved before anything is committed.

03

Make

Joinery and furniture built in our workshop to your room’s real dimensions, while site work runs in parallel.

04

Install

We install it ourselves and stay until the room is right. Then we leave you alone in it.

WHY LEMORA

Six reasons our rooms stay calm

Minimal modern interiors and furniture design, held to one standard from concept to installation.

Designed, Not Decorated

Every project starts as a plan, not a mood board. We solve circulation, sightlines and proportion first — the beauty is a consequence.

Made to Measure

Furniture built to your room's real dimensions in our own workshop. No forcing a standard sofa into a non-standard wall.

Honest Materials

Solid timber, natural stone, undyed wool, lime plaster. Nothing pretending to be something else, and nothing that looks tired in year three.

Liveable Minimalism

Calm rooms that survive real life — kids, books, cooking, mess. Restraint you can actually live inside, not a gallery you tiptoe through.

One Studio, End to End

Concept, drawings, joinery, furniture and install under one roof. One point of contact and one aesthetic — no coordination tax.

Built to Outlast Trends

We design to a ten-year horizon. Neutral bones, timeless proportion, and pieces you re-upholster rather than replace.

COLLECTIONS

Four collections, one language

Linea seating collection

LINEA

Seating drawn as one continuous line. Ash frames, undyed wool, low and quiet.

Terra dining collection

TERRA

Dining in solid oak and stone. Built heavy, finished light, made to be sat around for years.

Alcove bedroom collection

ALCOVE

Bedrooms stripped back to linen, timber and shadow. Storage hidden inside the architecture.

Atelier bespoke collection

ATELIER

Fully bespoke rooms. Drawn for one client, one site, one set of dimensions.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

Rooms are judged after you live in them

We asked for a calm living room and got something better — a room that still works three years and one baby later. Nothing has had to be replaced.

Whole-home project
They talked us out of two things we wanted to buy and designed a better answer for less. That is not how this usually goes.

Living and dining
The joinery is the thing people notice. It reads as part of the building rather than furniture pushed against a wall.

THE LEMORA JOURNAL

Notes from the studio

Journal — the case for fewer things

The case for fewer, better things

Why a room with eleven objects reads calmer than a room with forty — and how we decide what stays.

Journal — reading a floor plan

How to read a floor plan like a designer

Circulation, sightlines and the 900mm rule that quietly decides whether a room works.

Journal — materials that age well

Materials that age instead of wear

Oak, lime plaster, brass and wool — what the first five years actually do to them.

ABOUT THE STUDIO

A small studio, deliberately

Lemora is an interiors and furniture design studio working across residential and boutique commercial spaces. We take on a limited number of projects each year so that every room is drawn, detailed and made with the same attention.

Our work sits at the intersection of architecture and furniture — we believe you cannot design one honestly without the other. That is why we draw the room and build the pieces that go in it.

Ready to design a room that breathes?

Tell us about the space. We will come back with an honest view on what it needs — and whether we are the right studio for it.

QUESTIONS

Before you get in touch

The things clients ask us most often, answered plainly.

Both. Roughly half our work is a single room done properly — usually a living room or a bedroom. Whole-home projects give us more to work with, but a good room is a good room.
No. We design the space first and specify freely. If a piece we make is the right answer we will say so, and if something off the shelf is better we will tell you that instead.
A single room is typically eight to twelve weeks from first drawing to install. Whole homes run four to nine months. Bespoke furniture adds six to ten weeks depending on the timber and finish.
We work to a design fee plus the cost of what gets made. The fee depends on scope rather than a percentage, so we can tell you the number before you commit. We will always give you an honest read on whether the budget fits the ambition.
Yes, for whole-home and commercial projects. We travel for site visits at key stages and handle install ourselves rather than passing it to a third party.
Good. Rooms that hold a few things with history in them almost always read better than rooms bought all at once. Bring us the list early and we will design around it.
